Clear View of Motorcade
Garrett Brown
As a 10 year old impressionable boy, I sat on my father’s shoulders right against the wall in front of Dublin Castle facing Parliament Street.
I distinctly remember the motorcade of President Keennedy coming along Dame Street and turn down Parliament Street. The most memorable part of it was that it felt like I was seeing GOD. Even in my young mind he was an icon.
I will never forget that day.
